内容：
岩手に息づくホームスパン。ホームスパンを工芸品としての価値を高めた及川全三の足跡をたどり、今に繋がるホームスパンの服地の魅力や多綜絖、多色使いのマフラーの魅力や可能性について。

プロフィール：
岩手県盛岡市生まれ。
1975年岩手大学卒業後、1年間教職に身を置くも、縁あってホームスパンに出会い、故・蟻川紘直氏の元で修行を始める。5年間工房に身を置き、その後、デンマーク王立スカルス工芸学校に留学、北欧の織りを学ぶ。帰国後に工房を設立。現在は、岩手リハビリテーション学院の織物講師を務めるほか、県内外での個展や織物教室を開催し、次世代へと伝統を受け継ぐことにも積極的に取り組んでいる。
20年前に手がけ始めた及川全三のホームスパンの柄の再現に成功し、今もなお作品を発表し続けている。

Homespun in Iwate. Following in footsteps of Zenzo Oikawa who raised the value of Homespun as work of art, she will talk about charm and possibility of Homespun cloth, multi-colored woven scarves using numbers of heddles.
Profile
Born in Morioka City, Iwate. Graduated from Iwate University in 1975. She found by chance Homespun after a year of teaching, started studying Homespun under late Hironao Arikawa. After 5years of studying in his studio she studied Nordic textiles at Royal Polytechnic School for Crafts in Denmark. She is a textile instructor at Iwate Rehabilitation College. She has textile classes to pass on tradition to the next generation and also textile exhibitions of her works with reproduction of original patterns of Zenzo Oikawa.
