内容：
芭蕉布とは。芭蕉布の歴史や、製作工程の説明、また喜如嘉の芭蕉布の現状などをご紹介致します。
プロフィール：
福井県出身。
大学卒業後、会社勤務を経て、文化庁 喜如嘉の芭蕉布伝承者養成事業の伝承生となり、終了後は平良敏子 芭蕉布織物工房で芭蕉布製造に従事。
現在、喜如嘉の芭蕉布保存会会員の傍ら、喜如嘉芭蕉布事業協同組合理事長。
サンフランシスコ・ハワイ・フィリピン（ミンダナオ島）・台湾などでワークショップ活動、講演会やテキスト出版等 芭蕉布広報活動にも力を注いでいる。

Profile
Originally from Fukui. After graduated from University, worked for a company for a while before taking part in the training program to be a successors of Kijoka Bashofu by Agency for Cultural Affairs. She has been engaged in manufacturing Bashofu at Toshiko Taira Bashofu textile studio for over 40 years.
A member of the Association for the Preservation of Kijoka Bashofu. Director of Kijoka-Bashofu Association.
Held workshops in San Francisco, Hawaii, Philippines, and Taiwan. Also published textbooks, having lectures as a public relations.
